Corrections
When we get something wrong, we say so. Corrections are appended to the story with a timestamp and a plain description of what changed. We do not silently edit published facts.
How we handle an error
- A factual error is corrected in the story and recorded in a correction note at the foot of the article.
- If a claim can no longer be supported by its source, the claim is removed and the removal is stated — not quietly dropped.
- If a story's sourcing weakens, its confidence label changes and the change is visible.
- Retractions are published as their own note; the original URL is preserved so links do not break.
