Sabir Sami, aged 59, possesses over 30 years of experience in the global consumer and restaurant industries, including 16 years at Yum! Brands Inc. There, he held senior leadership roles across KFC, Taco Bell, and Habit Burger & Grill. He served as chief executive officer of KFC from January 2022 to February 2025, overseeing global strategy and performance. His previous roles at KFC included chief operating officer and managing director of KFC Asia, as well as managing director for markets in the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, and Turkey. He also served as general manager for Yum! Canada and for KFC's Canada and Turkey businesses. Prior to Yum!
